Eugenie Harris

Eugenie has been a member of the Cathedral since 2018 when she moved from Perth with her family. She’s thankful to God for her church family because people encourage each other to follow Jesus and keep growing by reading God’s word. Eugenie has worked in media, communications and marketing and enjoys finding stories about how the gospel is transforming hearts and lives in the North West. She loves coffee, cooking and Cavoodle puppies.

Parish Council Members

Judy Critch

Judy’s connection with the Diocese of Western Australia began 52 years ago when she was posted  to Mullewa, as a teacher and began worshipping at St Andrew’s Church. Some years later, Judy became a local when she married Tony, a farmer and was able to become more involved in the church. She enjoined taking part in the weekly services and bible study groups and the many activities, especially fundraising events, associated with maintaining a church in a small country town. In that time Judy served for several years as a Trustee of the Diocese and so got to meet other members from the Cathedral. In 2010, when they moved to Geraldton, The Cathedral of the Holy Cross was where they worshipped. Judy lists handcrafts, especially sewing as her favourite pastime and has enjoyed the fellowship associated with joining other ladies from the Cathedral to sew or knit items to raise funds or send to other needy people.

With his wife Charlotte, Spike attends the 5 pm Services, and has at times led the service. When possible, he also attends Bible Study Groups and Church activities such as Men’s Breakfast.

What is Parish Council?

Parish Council confers with the minsters to plan, organise and implement the evangelistic, pastoral, and missionary work of the Cathedral. They make decisions regarding the upkeep of the building and grounds as well as all ministry and Cathedral expenses.

What is a Warden?

Church Wardens provide care and support to the Minister-in-Charge and his family, ensure that all church services are conducted in a fitting manner and report any issues to the Bishop of the diocese.
