Who are we?

We’re a community of Christians seeking to know God better and to make him known to others. The message of the cross of Jesus is great news to our world because it brings us back to God.  Since we discover Jesus in the Bible, we place a high priority on helping each other understand it better.

Our tradition is Anglican. This means we stem from the Christianity of England. We believe the Bible is God’s Word. We also value the Creeds of the ancient Church, the Book of Common Prayer, and the Thirty Nine Articles. We are aligned with the GAFCON movement within Anglicanism, which holds to the historic Christian faith and its teachings on marriage, sexuality, and gender. We welcome people of all branches of Christianity to worship with us whenever they wish. As a city church, we also welcome enquirers from every faith tradition, and those who have no beliefs. We hope the Cathedral will be a safe place for asking questions.

We are a family of God’s people who support and encourage one another through both the good and the bad times we experience.

Everyone is welcome to join us, and find out the hope and peace that our great God offers to his world!

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV
