Dean - Lachlan Edwards (Very Revd)
After completing his Bachelor of Theology at Trinity Theological College in Perth, Lachlan and his family then ministered in Broome and Exmouth before heading to NSW to minister in Wollongong and North Sydney. During this time he completed a Master of Arts in Theology at Moore College. Lachlan is excited to be back in the North West, among people and a place he loves. Lachlan has a passion to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. He loves the bible and is looking forward to seeing God build his kingdom through Geraldton Anglican Cathedral. Lachlan has a background in small business and electronics.

Assistant Minister - Malachi Walker (Revd)
Raised in Geraldton, it was while working as nurse that Mal became convicted of the need to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since then, Mal has completed a two year ministry apprenticeship with AFES, and has then spent the last few years at Trinity Theological College in Perth studying their Masters of Divinity course. Mal has also served as Student Minister with Campus Bible Church, and has joined the Cathedral in 2025 as a minister in training.

Wednesday Service Coordinator and Prison Chaplain - David Hilton (Revd)
David joined the Cathedral back in 2000. He trained through Church Army in Sydney, spending a number of years doing youth work on the Eastern seaboard before moving to Geraldton to take on school chaplaincy. Since 2008, David has been the Coordinating Chaplain at Greenough Regional Prison.He is passionate about evangelism and discipleship, enjoys swimming, and likes both types of music; country and western.

Ministry Apprentice - Nathan Hiscock
Nathan began his two-year Ministry Apprenticeship in January 2024. The apprenticeship includes theological training, preaching development, service leadership, bible study leadership and, specifically for Nathan, music leadership including being our organ scholar and music director across all services. The aim of the apprenticeship is to gain on-the-job ministry experience and training to prayerfully discern a future in vocational ministry. Nathan says: “I want to serve and love people and the best way to help them is to help them grow in their knowledge and love of God. I genuinely believe that the Bible is sufficient for people to come to salvation through faith in Jesus.”

Administration - Bec Edwards
Bec looks after our Cathedral administration such as rostering, service & event planning and volunteer management. She works 8 hours per week at various times during the week. Bec comes from a background in library management and was previously a property development manager. She loves equipping people to be effective in their volunteer roles including training, resourcing, and planning.
