Jenni deVriesI was born and raised in a country town in the Midwest, studied high school in Perth, then served in Christian mission overseas. I moved to Geraldton in 1996 when I married my husband, Nic. In 2008 Nic, our four sons, and I became a part of the Cathedral family. Since then I have served at the Cathedral in varying capacities including in music and children’s ministry and on parish council. Two of my favourite things to do are to engage in conversation with friends and family and to sing and make music for the Lord.
JP MullerHi I am Johannes Muller or just “JP” originally from Durban South Africa. My family emigrated to Geraldton in 2000. I am married to my wonderful wife Julie and have been greatly blessed with two daughters, Mandy and Alison. I am totally captivated by the good news of Jesus and rejoice in the fact that my wife and daughters are strongly committed Christians. As a member of Holy Cross Cathedral and through clergy’s faithfulness to the gospel I have found a sound foundation to grow as a Christian and serve the kingdom of God in this little corner of his vast vineyard. Blessings to you all.
Parish Council Members
Hannah RoyceHannah serves as secretary to the Parish Council. She and her husband John together with their 4 wonderful daughters farm in Chapman Valley, north east of Geraldton. They have been regularly attending Holy Cross Cathedral since 2009, and worship at the 10am service. Hannah enjoys spending time in the company of family and friends, loading up the kids and husband and going on long drives, and sitting quietly under a tin roof listening to the rain fall.
John TilingerI moved to Geraldton at the beginning of 2016 to teach at Strathalbyn Christian College. Later that year, I married my wife Ester, who moved here from Perth to join me. I was raised in non-Christian home and accepted Jesus as Lord as a teenager. For this reason, I am confident in the transformative power of the gospel and want others to know and follow Christ. In my spare time, I like hiking (mainly when on holiday), reading, and tinkering with computers and small woodwork projects.
Barbara moved to Geraldton from Morawa with her late husband Peter in December 2004. She has 4 adult children and 10 grandchildren. At home, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, word and number puzzles and reading.
