Service Times

We love welcoming newcomers into our church family, so you are warmly invited to join us at one of our services.

Sunday 8am

We share the Lord’s Supper using liturgy from the Australian Prayer Book, and the Bible is taught every week. This service is supported by our Cathedral choir and an organist as we sing mostly traditional hymns together. On the third Sunday of the month we follow a Morning Prayer service. This service meets in the main Cathedral building followed by morning tea in the Hall.

Sunday 10am

This is our most diverse service with people of all ages.  The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month, and the Bible is taught every week. Music is a mixture of traditional and contemporary led by our Cathedral band. This service meets in the main Cathedral building.

Information for parents

We are family friendly with kids heading out to Sunday School after a children’s talk during the school term. Although Sunday School doesn’t run during school holidays, there is a kids talk at each 10am Service and provided activity packs for children to use. There is also a small selection of books and toys for kids to use, and some families bring their own activities from home (which is fine!).

There is a small lounge at the back of the seating area of the Cathedral for parents with small children and those needing to nurse during the service. Toys and books are available. A change table is located in the back area as well as in our accessible toilet next to the Cathedral Hall.

At the end of the 10am Service, morning tea is served in the Cathedral Hall and the kids have fun playing together in the enclosed yard outside. We have a number of Bible studies, catch-ups and functions throughout the year. This enables us to get to know one another, to have fun and to support each other in the times that matter.

Sunday 5pm

This is a time of informal Bible teaching, singing and fellowship, followed by a bring and share meal (please feel no obligation to bring anything). The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month. This service meets in the hall, behind the Cathedral.

Wednesday 10am

We share the Lord’s Supper using liturgy from the Australian Prayer Book, and the Bible is taught every week. This service is supported by a pianist as we sing praise songs together. We meet in the main Cathedral building followed by morning tea in the Hall.
