Safety at Services

In this Covid period we work with various guidelines in our meetings. Some of these are legal requirements.

  • Face masks must be worn at all services and all indoor public settings unless an exemption applies.
  • Please sanitize your hands when entering and exiting the buildings. The sanitizer will be at the main entrances.
  • Prayers and hymns are projected onto screens to enable a minimum handling of books.
  • Register your attendance. We recommend you use the SafeWA app. Or ask a welcomer to record your name and phone number.
  • Place your offering in the offering bowl on the font (in the centre of the aisle) as you enter or during the collection song. Offerings will be brought to the front during one of the hymns.
  • Observe the 2-metre rule between people (this excludes members of the same household). We are now allowed to have full capacity.
  • Hand shaking and hugs are discouraged.
  • Those handling the bread during Communion will take precautions by sanitizing. Bread will be handled with forcepts. Individual cups will be used with the wine or grape juice. Allow some space for the person next to you.
  • If you are unwell, it is best to stay at home. Contact us if you need help.
  • The 10am service will normally be live streamed. The text of the last sermon can be found on www.davidseccombe.com
